The Software and Robotic Systems Engineer will be responsible for developing control software for embedded systems as well as autonomous, semi-autonomous, and tele-operated systems.
Responsibilities
Work closely with other engineering disciplines to build prototype robotic solutions
Contribute to all aspects of robotics software from sensor acquisition to drive system control
Design and implement robust system architecture, working with software, electrical, and mechanical engineers and managers
Support remote field testing and customer site visits as needed
All other duties as assigned
Qualifications
C / C+
/ Python development skills in an embedded environment
Strong Linux and QNX configuration and debugging experience
Data Acquisition experience from a variety of platforms/protocols (CAN, I2C, SPI, SDIO, I2S, USB, etc)
Embedded and/or mobile systems experience (ARM, Tegra, etc)
Creative/Hacker attitude, able to get things done with minimal time/resources
