Regional Director
As a regional director, you ultimately OWN the accounts your field engineers are assigned to. You will be assigned a team of no more than 12 field engineers. You are also expected to own the mentoring and training of your engineering team.
Strategic Objectives:
Client Ownership
  • Onboarding ‚ overall customer satisfaction of the onboarding process should be greater than or equal to 90%. Additionally, you are expected to have at least 80% participation in the surveys.
People Management
  • Recruiting ‚ You are expected to forecast demand and hire as needed (see 3b).
  • Performance Reviews ‚ You are required to deliver annual performance reviews at least once per year for all team members.
  • One on Ones ‚ The regional directors will hold one-on-one‚ s with each of their direct reports at least monthly. The one-on-one‚ s can be conducted remotely, but there should be a face-to-face at least once per quarter.
Billable hour
  • The regional directors are responsible for overseeing the engineers and setting their minimum billable hours.
Forecasting / Capacity Planning
  • Forecasting ‚ It is expected that a regional director will forecast their business looking forward three months and plan their recruiting efforts to ensure available capacity.
Tactical Objectives:
  • Employee management
  • Client management
  • Department level meetings
Experience Requirements:
  • Minimum 1-3 years‚ experience in managing and supervising teams.
  • Prior MSP experience
  • Minimum 5-10 years‚ experience in relevant technologies.
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
  • Exceptional people management and leadership skills
  • Travel will be required in any area that Cal Net services.
Applicants must be willing to work any day of the year as needed, including weekends (excluding company holidays). Weekend work for this position is not optional or voluntary. Days off will fluctuate based on project schedules and may occur during the normal work week

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
