The Shift Leader position is responsible for providing that WOW Experience to our customers from the very first interaction to make sure they have a memorable experience. Supporting the day-to-day operations of the Restaurant the shift leader ensures the execution of the administrative and operational process for the cashiers and the kitchen. The Shift leader uses “Every Guest Matters” mentality.


Essential Functions includes, but not limited to:



  • Prepares daily (opening and closing) administrative paperwork, cash reconciliations for entire day (including voids, refunds, and returns)

  • Completes daily checklists and pre-shift sheet

  • Basic knowledge in employee’s administration formats. (hiring package, PTO’s request, etc)

  • Administrate team breaks to ensure labor law guidelines and proper front counter and kitchen coverage.

  • Maintains focus on food standards, costs, and safety during shift.

  • Performs Inventory

  • Understands and ensures that team members follow food safety, work safety & cross-contamination requirements.

  • Promotes and encourages team members to work as a TEAM with common goals.

  • Participates in administrative activities that may include completing schedules, ordering, payroll etc., assigned at the supervisor’s request


Qualifications



  • Basic Computer knowledge

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

  • Detail-orientated

  • Fluency in Spanish and/or Armenian is an asset

  • Organizational and time management skills


Physical Requirements


Mobility is required during the entire shift and stands on feet for a long period. This would require the ability to reach, bend, squat and frequently lift and move up to 50 lbs.


Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
