Manager - Content Research

The Consumer Insights group is seeking a strong candidate to focus on content and cultural trends. The Manager will be a valued member of the consumer insights team, supporting primary research projects for ABC Studios, working closely with clients in development, programming and marketing to understand their needs, then develop and execute research using innovative approaches.
The ideal candidate should possess the following skills / attributes:

? Knows how to design a research project that meets the need of the business question and can identify which methodology best serves that purpose
? Experienced in analytical thinking and writing
? Ability to synthesize large amounts of data and information into clear and concise findings
? Understands how to turn the consumer?s voice into actionable insights
? Is a compelling storyteller who is able to socialize research findings to different internal clients
? Ability to juggle multiple projects at once, prioritize effectively and autonomously advance each project?s progress
? Organized with strong time management skills
? Analytical thinker who enjoys problem-solving
? Naturally curious and resourceful
? A self-starter who loves working independently as well as collaboratively within a team
? Strong attention to detail and accuracy
? Passion for the television industry and enjoys exploring the intersection of entertainment and culture
Basic Qualifications
? Candidate must have a minimum of 4 years of experience at a market research agency or department and at least 2 years of primary research experience
? Has experience with and is comfortable managing both qualitative and quantitative research
? Highly-proficient with Excel and PowerPoint and has working knowledge of statistical analysis and SPSS or SAS
Preferred Qualifications
? Experience with Nielsen ratings, software and other forms of measurement
? Experience working with advanced analytics
? Experience with entertainment research
Required Education
? Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
Preferred Education
? Advanced Degree in Media or Social Science

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
