Vulnerability Mgt / Regulatory Compliance Coord

Kforce has a client seeking a Vulnerability Management / Regulatory Compliance Coordinator in Burbank, California (CA) for an 18-month contract-possible conversion.Essential Functions:
Work with application owners, Business Segments, Asset Management, and suppliers to document and maintain accurate server inventory on 16000 active servers
Work with appropriate groups to correct the data discrepancies in the various asset databases on 16000 active servers
Work with suppliers to identify servers that have not transitioned to the vulnerability management process and develop plans to transition these servers into the VM process
Identify all EIT servers, patch levels, and requirements to bring servers into compliance
Work directly suppliers to schedule servers for monthly and critical patches in support monthly vulnerability activity list
Validate Change Requests/Tasks in the vulnerability management group for accuracy and completeness
Work with appropriate Business unit contacts to correct and/or cancel Change requests and Tasks with errors and ensure all applicable servers have the appropriate changes created
Ensure proper installation of security software/tools on servers
Using available data sources, create custom reports to track server compliance
Coordinate scheduling of servers for installation of patches, software, and other compliance standards
Create repeatable processes and documentation to assist vendors, customers, and team members in meeting compliance standards
Maintain overall knowledge of current Regulatory Interest Groups as they pertain to existing IT assets and processes as well as emerging technologies to provide the necessary information when needed
3 years' experience with regulatory compliance-Must Have This
5 years' experience in IT related position
Working knowledge of multiple Operating Systems (Linux, Unix, Windows)
Business and technical background Project management skills
Detail oriented for documentation of findings and gap analysis
Thorough knowledge of Office tools for data mining and reporting
Preferred Qualifications:
In-depth knowledge of Networking and Information Security
Project Management preferred
Knowledge of MS SQL

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
