Associate HR Business Partner

We are presently seeking a Human Resources Associate Business Partner to join our HR team in the Western Region. In this position, you will provide Human Resources generalist support to the various Herc Rentals locations.
As a key member of our HR team, your responsibilities would include but are not limited to:
+ Help maintain a positive employee and labor relations climate
+ Support recruiting process
+ Benefits Administration
+ Personnel File Maintenance
+ Coach and advise on employee relations issues
+ Leave of Absence administration and tracking
+ Respond to employee questions and concerns

Mandatory Requirements:
+ A Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Human Resources or a related discipline.
+ Two to three years of progressive Human Resources Generalist experience.
+ Knowledge of Federal and State regulations in addition to US Employment Law.
+ Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
+ A commitment to continuous improvement.
+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
+ Strong relationship-building skills.
+ Assertiveness, initiative, and a high energy level.
+ Experience supporting a unionized workforce preferred.
+ Above average knowledge with Microsoft Office.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
