Transaction Supports team structure differs from other team in Corporate Controllership, as Senior Managers by design do not have direct reports. Our work is less process-driven, but highly technical and by nature lending itself more to independent research that varies in complexity. Very complex technical matters managed by the Sr. Mgr. on a daily basis. The team receives the questions because there are no clear guidelines for the matters consulted upon.

Basic Qualifications
At least 6 years work experience, including: Public accounting (preferably with a Big 4 firm with large multi-national SEC clientele)
Must possess strong quantitative and analytical skills combined with solid business and financial acumen. Must be a problem solver with a natural curiosity about complex matters.
Strong relationship building skills and a highly professional "client service orientation" is critical.
Must be able to interact with all levels of management.
Must be self-motivated and an excellent team player who possesses outstanding interpersonal and organizational skills.
Strong technical and general accounting knowledge and ability to research FASB, SEC and other accounting literature.
CPA or equivalent required

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
