About the job:

Our ideal candidate is a tax professional who is ambitious, interested in firm ownership, motivated to challenge themselves, and eager to grow within our dynamic firm. The ability to manage an engagement from all fronts is a must. Strong client and project management skills are essential. A strong working knowledge in accounting and taxation for a diverse client base including corporations, individuals, partnerships, and trusts is needed. Our staff are involved in all aspects of client service including planning, consulting, one off projects, etc.

Job requirements:

  • Degree in accounting or taxation

  • 2-6 years of work experience in tax accounting

  • Must be a CPA or have passed a portion of the exam

  • Strong project management skills

  • Ability to work independently, be self-motivated and results-oriented

  • Strong organizational, problem-solving and analytical skills

  • Desired leadership position and passion for professional growth

  • Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills

  • Experience using tax software, proficient in QuickBooks and Microsoft Office Suite

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
