DUTIES: Design, build, implement, modify, test, debug and deploy applications for customer or partner facing products or internal users. Design, implement and maintain highly reliable and scalable distributed ad serving systems. Build automated optimization engine to improve user experience and revenue. Use Hadoop for manipulating data to gather data insights from optimizations. Fine tune the system for global deployment. Work with Product, Business and Partner teams to understand new requirements and challenges. Work with engineering teams in multiple geographies on a daily basis.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems Engineering or related field, plus three (3) years of experience developing software.
Alternative education and experience requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems Engineering or related field, plus five (5) years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience developing software.
SPECIAL SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:
Requires education or experience in: (1) Object-oriented design/programming utilizing C+
on Linux environment; (2) PERL on Linux environment; (3) JavaScript, Unix scripting, Unix tools and utilities; (4) Networking, TCP/UDP protocols, system programming; (5) Multi-process/multi-threaded applications, scalable architecture, performance analysis and tuning; (6) SDLC (design, implementation, testing, deployment and maintenance) of large projects; (7) Design and implementation of high throughput system; and (8) Working with cross-functional teams to develop and release software.
