DUTIES: Design, build, implement, modify, test, debug and deploy applications for customer or partner facing products or internal users. Interact with search sales teams and various internal customers (data analysts, product and marketing managers) to understand their unique business problems, technical requirements, identify the data sources and deliver custom ad hoc report solutions. Work with product managers to analyze feature requirements for new ad products. Understand and present details on impact of new features introduced in the Yahoo Ad Serving system on key performance indicators. Perform data extraction on Hadoop data stores using Pig/Hive and build automated process for dashboards for internal customers. Write complex SQL requests for a 100+TB Oracle database and troubleshoot issues. Prototype reports for new requirements for sales tools and reporting. Develop and provide data driven solutions for answering search marketplace business solutions.
REQUIREMENTS: Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronic Engineering or related field and three years of experience developing database applications utilizing Hadoop or Oracle.
ALTERNATE REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronic Engineering or related field and five years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience developing database applications utilizing Hadoop or Oracle.
SPECIAL SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:
Requires education or experience in: 1. Oracle SQL query reporting; 2. PL/SQL code development; 3. Hadoop, PIG Latin and Hive script development; 4. Unix scripting in shell and python; 5. Big data extraction on Hadoop; and 6. KPI performance measurement.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
