a very occasional, very sporadic, very part-time pet sitter and midday dog walker.
The animal-loving candidate should live in Burbank, CA.
Pet sitting and dog walking involves visiting pets in their own homes, so it means a bit of driving around Burbank and the surrounding areas.
Looking for a compassionate person who has experience with animals, who is responsible, mature, diligent, with a reliable car and smartphone (and can respond to texts/calls/emails in a timely manner).
Must be totally comfortable with both cats and dogs --- of all sizes -- and the occasional small animal (bird, fish, etc.
).
Experience with giving medication (pills, insulin injections, etc.
) to cats and dogs a HUGE plus.
Must be able to pass a background check.
Pay is $18/half-hour visit, and $30/hour visit (most visits are 30 minutes) with a little more on Easter Sunday, Independence Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve and New Year's Day.
