BIG PICTURE:
We are searching for a professional and detail oriented Security Associate to help us maintain a safe and secure environment for all individuals while at our studio.
This includes checking in all employees and visitors, assisting them with any questions or concerns, identifying potential security risks, and responding immediately to any emergency situations in a calm manner.
The ideal candidate will have impeccable communication skills, strong understanding of safety rules and procedures, and a proven track record of responding quickly and effectively to crisis situations.
Ultimately, the Security Associate will be a highly dependable and trustworthy individual that is able to work independently.
HOW YOU'LL SPEND YOUR TIME:
Greeting and directing guests and/or team members ensuring all are properly checked in while enforcing procedures and policies Maintaining visible presence, monitoring key fob access, and ensuring prevention of crime Maintaining a safe and secure environment for visitors and employees by patrolling and monitoring premises on foot both during and after hours of business Regularly patrolling the entire production perimeter while on-location, being observant of the environment, the people, and surrounding objects Handling security issues and/or emergency situations appropriately and in a timely manner Maintaining composure in dealing with authorities, executives, clients, staff and the public, occasionally under conditions of urgency and in pressure situations Reporting observations and incidents as necessary, professionally, verbally, and accurately documenting involvement and the conclusion of each incident Assisting the Operations and Production Teams as necessary WHAT YOU HAVE:
Knowledge of security operations and procedures including use of personal protective equipment, safety training, and fire inspection procedures Flexibility on schedule as start and end times vary (This includes early mornings, afternoons, and late nights) Accustomed to operating in dynamic and high paced situations Ability to handle both common and crisis situations Ability to assess situations and find relative solutions in a timely manner Excellent interpersonal and client-facing skills - professional and positive communication style WHO OVERSEES YOU:
The Security Associate will report directly to the Operations Manager WHO YOU OVERSEE:
Currently, the Security Associate has no personnel reporting directly to him or her WHERE IT ALL GOES DOWN:
All the action takes place at our BRAND NEW studio in Burbank, CA WHEN THE MAGIC HAPPENS:
The typical work schedule is 40 hours a week.
First Shift:
9am-5:
30pm Second Shift:
11:
