Applicants must have:
1) At least one (1) year of environmental law and/or State/Local/Federal environmental regulatory agency experience; 2) Excellent organization and research skills; 3) Quick document review comprehension; 4) Geology or hydrogeology background a plus; 5) Trial experience a plus; 6) Class action and toxic tort experience a plus.
Successful candidates must possess the motivation and drive to jump into an active role as a team player in some of the most hi-profile environmental matters in the State.
Candidate must possess a Paralegal Certificate.
PARALEGAL DUTIES Organize and maintain voluminous client and discovery documents Index, digest, and prepare page/line and narrative deposition summaries Draft and respond to interrogatories, requests for production and request for admissions Conduct legal research, including procedural, administrative and case law research Assist in drafting Complaints Assist in extensive trial preparation.
The Firm's main office is in Burbank, CA (right across from Disney Studios) with satellite offices in Sacramento, CA and Las Vegas, NV.
During COVID, employees work a mixed home/office schedule (e.
g.
3 days per week in the office, the other days at home).
