The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3
years of experience in accounting, with a strong understanding of QuickBooks Online, Bank Reconciliation, Property Taxes, Sales and Use Tax, Month end close, journal entries, payroll taxes, and health insurance billing.
As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and completeness of our financial records and providing financial analysis to support our business decisions.
Responsibilities:
Manage the monthly financial close process, including preparing journal entries and reconciling accounts Ensure compliance with all tax regulations, including property taxes, sales and use taxes, and payroll taxes Prepare and review financial statements and reports, providing analysis and insights to support business decisions Manage the accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely and accurate payments and collections Work closely with cross-functional teams to support business initiatives and provide financial guidance and insights Develop and maintain accounting policies and procedures to ensure accuracy and consistency in financial reporting Assist with the annual budgeting and forecasting process, providing financial analysis and insights to support business planning Manage the health insurance billing process, ensuring accurate and timely billing and collections
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field Minimum of 3
years of experience in accounting, with a strong understanding of Quickbooks Online, Bank Reconciliation, Property Taxes, Sales and Use Tax, Month end close, journal entries, payroll taxes, and health insurance billing CPA certification preferred Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to provide insights and recommendations based on financial data Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Excel and other accounting softwareIf you are a motivated and experienced Senior Accountant with a passion for technology and a desire to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
