Summary:
Disney's Employee Care & Support (ECS) sits within the Company's Employee Resilience function as a part of Employee Relations and is responsible, with support from key strategic partners, for ensuring the Company takes a compassionate, equitable, holistic, and proactive approach to the level of care and support we provide our employees, cast and crew members, and their family members during times of crisis and traumatic life moments.
The Associate Manager, Employee Care & Support (Project Hire) will work with HR/ER, as well as other key stakeholders to implement programs and policies, identify and centralize resources and respond to situations of employee crisis events and traumatic life moments.
The Associate Manager, Employee Care & Support (Project Hire) must be able to perform work with little supervision, demonstrate strong emotional intelligence to skillfully interact with partners and leaders at all levels of the organization, handle a wide range of complex and sensitive employment situations, and exhibit superb written and verbal communication skills.
Responsibilities Monitor and respond to Production-specific care and support helpline and employee crisis events while leading the resolution of reported incidents quickly, and with empathy, and connecting individuals impacted to the right resources and referrals Support an enterprise-wide scalable model of employee care and support through the implementation of guiding principles, policies and procedures, training and awareness programs and identification of tools and resources Engage with the broader HR Community, as well as specialty partners to drive strategy and strengthen the Company's resilience towards trauma and crisis Implement and facilitate training to educate and empower HR/ER employees, people managers, and employees on how to lead compassionately and support employees in times of trauma Support our segment Leadership, HR/ER partners real-time in response to sensitive and/or complex traumatic employee events Draft well-written policies, plans, and executive summaries with little supervision Support implementation of an Employee Care & Support case management system along with criteria for metrics and reporting Build strong relationships with key partners, including Human Resources, Employee Relations, Legal, Global Security, Communications, Diversity, Equity & Inclusion, and others Basic Qualifications Minimum of 2-4 years combined hands on experience within the fields of Human Resources, Health & Safety, and/or Mental Health/Wellbeing Experience managing crises both small and large High emotional intelligence, strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills with the ability to support individuals in moments of crisis Strong understanding of mental health and well-being practices Excellent decision making, problem solving, critical thinking and root cause/analysis skills.
Ability to handle highly sensitive and confidential matters Ability to work collaboratively, lead, and influence at all levels within the organization, and make decisions while keeping all partners and leaders informed Independent work style, balancing the need for collaboration with minimal supervision Ability to remain calm under pressure and leverage strong time management and prioritization skills to manage multiple projects and pivot quickly between activities based on changing priorities Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays on an on-call basis to support employee emergencies Required Education Bachelor's Degree in related discipline OR, 4 additional years of related experience beyond the minimum required may be substituted in lieu of a degree.
Preferred Education Relevant graduate-level degree Mental Health First Aid and/or Suicide Prevention Training The hiring range for this remote position is $ $101,900 - $149,800per year, which factors in various geographic regions.
The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
