Summary:
We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Proofreader to join our team.
As a Proofreader, you will be responsible for reviewing and correcting written content to ensure accuracy, clarity, and adherence to established guidelines.

Responsibilities:
Proofreader for a fast-paced, high-volume entertainment advertising agency.
Entertainment experience (theatrical and streaming) preferred.
The job entails proofing billing blocks, legal, rating, and logos on 1-sheets, online and out-of-home elements, plus occasional press kit bios and credits.
Must be detail-oriented, follow established proofing processes and studio style guides.
Must be flexible to work overtime.
- Identify and correct errors in grammar, punctuation, spelling, and syntax - Ensure consistency in style, tone, and formatting throughout all written materials - Fact-check information to verify accuracy and credibility - Conduct research when necessary to ensure the accuracy of technical or specialized information - Edit content for clarity, coherence, and logical flow - Provide feedback and suggestions for improvement - Meet deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards
