Confidential Confidential Burbank, CA Burbank, CA Full-time Full-time $70,000 - $90,000 a year $70,000 - $90,000 a year 9 days ago 9 days ago 9 days ago The Retirement and Compliance Manager is responsible for overseeing the administration of multiple client and MEP retirement plans, ensuring that the organization and our clients meet all regulatory requirements and compliance standards.
In addition, there is particular focus on the 401k and 403b Retirement Administration and Affordable Care Act (ACA).
The manager will stay abreast of changes and developments to regulations, and convey those requirements to colleagues and clients.
This individual must have 5 or more years of experience related to benefit retirement plan and ACA Administration.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Ensure compliance with laws and regulations such as ACA, Retirement plans and SOC requirements.
Stay current on Retirement Plans and ACA and educate key stakeholders on requirements and new developments.
Work with other Benefits Department staff members to develop plans specific communications.
Retirement and ACA subject matter expert, serving as an expert to colleagues and clients.
Submission of all 1094C and 1095C documents Coordinating Retirement meetings for clients Working closely with our Retirement plan vendors, ERISA attorney and financial advisor Ensure correct system setup and timely submission of daily retirement contributions Assist Benefits Team in creation of compliance communications and materials relating to Retirement, ACA and other compliance topics.
401(k) and 403b multi-employer plan administration, compliance, including management of non-discrimination mid-year and year testing with plan provider.
Prepare and submit government-mandated reports, including Form 5500.
Plan and develop processes for compliance best practices.
Other duties as assigned by management.
