About the Opportunity:
We are looking for an intelligent, computer savvy, people person to join our fun and friendly staff based out of our west coast office in Burbank, CA.
The Purchasing Agent supports our sales and production operations by purchasing and controlling our product and component inventory, supporting in-house manufacturing and working with management to forecast production needs and what products to order.
This role will also work closely with our Logistics department to monitor stock levels and track shipments to and from warehouses or manufacturing plants to our various locations.
The ideal candidate will be acquainted will be analytical and self-managed.
Strong planning skills are key.
They must be flexible, able to adapt quickly, and produce accurate results with minimal supervision.
Strong written and verbal communication skills are a must.

Responsibilities:
Develop and implement cost-effective purchasing strategies and policies to optimize procurement processes Maintaining and analyzing inventory and order reports to identify items in need of replenishment.
Forecasting to predict future demand and production needs Process and track production jobs through Epicor and other Services Familiarity with contract negotiation and vendor management Identify and evaluate suppliers, negotiate contracts, and manage vendor relationships Gather quotes, proposals, and purchase terms and conditions.
Execute the purchase of goods or services as approved by management.
Monitor inventory levels and submit/track purchase orders to ensure on-time delivery Collaborate with our logistics team and other staff to record daily deliveries and shipments to reconcile inventory.
Other tasks as needed Basic required skills:
Strong client-facing and communication skills Strong attention to detail Ability to multi-task and work under deadlines with little to no supervision Excellent organizational skills Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Strong understanding of CRM systems preferred Bi-lingual in English and Spanish is a plus Education/
Experience:
Bachelor's Degree required Proven experience as a Purchasing Agent or in a similar role 3-4
years experience in Inventory Management 2-3
